But the renewable energy industry is fighting back. A recent article in Stateline shows the growing business and political clout of renewable energy businesses that are rapidly expanding their investment and employment across the country. The jobs and economic development resulting from green energy investments convinced Republican governors in Ohio, New Jersey, Kansas and Iowa to back away from statements questioning the value of state renewable energy standards.
