To celebrate the Eiffel Tower's 120th anniversary, visitors and residents will be able to enjoy a breathtaking light display every evening from 10/22/2009 until 12/31/2009. LED spotlights are used to illuminate the Trocadero facade of the tower. Using color, modulation and movement, the show is believed to be truly remarkable. Because of the low energy consumption levels of LEDs, the Tower can now boast greater efficiency than the conventional spotlights used earlier in history.
